Patient testing support and risk management programs

Many of the drugs in the medication support programs we serve are biologics. In line with drug risk management plans or patient medication safety assessment requirements, physicians arrange corresponding tests—such as screening for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or tuberculosis, or evaluating disease-related indices—to ensure the safety and efficacy of patients' medication. However, since some of these tests are not covered by National Health Insurance, most pharmaceutical companies contract with hospitals or testing laboratories to subsidize specific test items, easing patients' financial pressure and ensuring safe medication use. This too is a form of patient support program in the broad sense, giving patients the right of access to their medicines.

With the rise of precision medicine, not every hospital can provide every type of drug-related test. To meet patient support needs, the PATIENTSFORCE group also manages a range of pre-treatment testing subsidy programs. PATIENTSFORCE handles contract management with hospitals and testing institutions for specific test items and assists patients through the administrative workflow of applying for testing support. It effectively helps pharmaceutical companies manage testing providers, consolidate reconciliation information, and maintain sound program management to meet compliance requirements and protect patients' personal data—ensuring patients can begin their treatment journey and enabling ongoing assessment of whether to proceed with drug therapy.

In these testing subsidy programs, PATIENTSFORCE has contracted with more than 40 medical centers and regional hospitals across Taiwan, helping patients who need drug-related testing complete their testing support and risk management programs, and using digital system management to provide clients with program performance insights and effective data management.
